6A. Time & Expense Entries

 

Time and expense entries are the key to making the OnTrax Timesheets reflect the costs that are occurring in your company. It’s very difficult to get exact, accurate time reporting when there are many different projects being worked on.  The OnTrax Timesheets is designed to track the daily activities of employees and the random items as well.  It provides you with a detailed breakdown of average daily time spent on different projects. For people that leave one project earlier in the day and then come back to the same project later in the day, OnTrax Timesheets is set up to allow multiple time entries to the same project/project item combination within one day. Real-time reports can be generated on the fly, daily or weekly if needed.

The average user of the OnTrax Timesheets is only concerned with how to enter time and expenses, which is extremely easy. Managers approve time and expenses after entry by the users.

When employees log into the OnTrax Timesheets, an overview screen is displayed. The overview screen shows the last time logged in, messages and other important information. Tabs are also available for time, budgets and productivity overview.

 

Note:  The message on the overview login screen is set in the Application Configuration area.  

 

 

All users can view their own personal entries on the Overview screen including time and expense entries.  Only designated users with additional access are allowed to view overall hours of different users.
