The OnTrax Timesheets allows users to enter time in one of two time 'Entry Type's. The first option "Hours' enables a 'Block' time entry input format which lets users enter time in increments of hours (level depends upon application configuration). The second option 'Start/End Time' allows a user to input their time from one single point in time to another (8:05am to 3:32pm). When using either type of time 'Entry Type', the system will then automatically round the time entered according to the setting in the 'Configuration >> Application' screen.
To set the Time Entry Type for a particular User ID:
1. Select Users from the main menu
2. Select the user ID you would like from the left hand column to automatically load the user master information into the main screen
3. Select the Rates tab in the main window
4. Select Edit which allows you to edit the information in the screen
5. Select Entry Type and choose hours or start/end time for the key pad
6. Chose the Save button
